Hawaii was amazing. The average temperature was 83° during the day and 79° at night. We went scuba diving two different days. We were down around 95 feet on a ship wreck and we got to see some very large eagle rays. There was a group of about 18. We dove a cave and a reef too. I can't name the numerous things we saw (sponge crabs, pillow star fish, shrimp, turtles, eels, different fish, etc.). It was amazing.
Kevin and me at the Mahi shipwreck; about 75 feet down. And, yes, everything is really that blue under water.

Kevin and I had an amazing time in Arizona. We spent the weekend with my aunt and uncle. We visited with my cousin, her husband and their three beautiful children. We got to dive on a sunken sailboat. Next time we go, I want to dive on the old, underwater town. I wish we could have stayed longer. But, we will see them next month in Hawaii.

It's back to work, for now. I will be at the salon all week. Give me a call to schedule your appointment.

So, last weekend was so much fun. Kevin and I did a total of 4 dives in the Spokane River. We passed our skills exam and demonstrated buddy breathing. We are now open water certified scuba divers. The river was 44 degrees and with our wet suits on, I did not get cold at all. I was surprised because I am always cold. We are going to do some more diving this weekend, with my aunt and uncle, and I can't wait. Sorry, but the salon will be closed on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I can't pass up the opportunity to spend time with my honey.

I will be here from 9 am - 4:30 or 5:00 pm. Give me a call if you would like to get an appointment. I can make time or stay later. I am closed all weekend. Kevin and I will be diving in the Spokane River. The thought of it makes me shiver. Our instructor said the temp should be between 45 and 55 degrees. I am confident in my scuba skills and apprehensive about the cold water. Tropical diving sounds a lot more fun. Oh well, after this weekend, we will be certified for open water scuba diving.

I am closing the salon an hour early tonight (3:00 pm). Kevin, my husband, and I are headed into Spokane for our last scuba class. We will take the book test tonight and than finish the evening in the pool. This weekend we are going on our dives. I think we have two on Saturday and two on Sunday. I hope it isn't too cold. Oh well, our Arizona and Hawaii dives should be warm. We have lots of fun dives planned in the next two months. It should be a great end of the year.
